The Center addresses the needs of Asian Pacific American women across the United States, and Regional Councils are planning to roll out one-day training sessions. The next regional training session will be held in Atlanta, GA on April 25, 2008.

The National APAWLI Program

This is The Center for Asian Pacific American Women's signature program. Formerly known as APAWLI Leadership Program, it has been offered since 1996 and has graduated 93 fellows. Each fellow designed and implemented an impact project that benefited at least 25 people. The projects ranged from health care, development of young women, multi-cultural art and science projects for inner city children, APA women business entrepreneurs and the Dragon Boat Race in Denver. Many of these projects have become annual events. Here are some of their stories.

National Summit

Every two years the Center brings together Asian Pacific American women from all over the country to hear each other, speak to each other and bond as a community through participating in workshops, roundtables and the gala dinner. Check back for what you can look forward to in 2008.
